A fruitful location for growth and innovation
The Contact Centre for Business is committed to helping businesses in Glarus to fully exploit their development potential, as prospects for companies always benefit the local population. One key funding instrument is the federal and cantonal programmes and infrastructure projects within the framework of the New Regional Policy (NRP). A third of the NRP budget is spent on regional innovation systems (RIS), including the Innovation Network of Eastern Switzerland (INOS), which supports businesses in Glarus. The Contact Centre for Business provides companies with access to government funding projects and also promotes entrepreneurial innovation with its own stimulus programmes.
Exchanging expertise and relationship management are also central to the development of Glarus companies. The Contact Centre for Business enables companies to network with relevant technology experts and institutes and establishes contact with higher education and research institutions. In addition to innovation, a central focus of location development is the promotion of tourism in Glarus at all levels.
