Enabling entrepreneurs to reach new heights with new ideas

The Canton of Glarus is not taking on the challenge of “innovation promotion” entirely on its own, but rather as part of the Innovation Network of Eastern Switzerland (INOS). The INOS initiative, supported by the Swiss federal government, promotes entrepreneurial innovation through consultations and coaching, and bundles expertise from research and practice in thematic areas across companies, so all participants benefit from the synergies. INOS also adds impetus to the innovation process through networking events, workshops and symposia. You can find an overview of the services and events here: www.inos.swiss.

All businesses in Glarus benefit from the innovation coaching offered by the Glarus Contact Centre for Business – especially the many SMEs that operate in the competitive high-tech environment of the MEM and plastics processing industries. Knowledge and technology transfer is at the heart of innovation coaching. The Contact Centre for Business works closely with universities and provides Glarus companies with access to federal funding programmes for innovative products.
