Land is generally in short supply in Switzerland, and it is expensive. But that's not the case in the Canton of Glarus: there is plenty of space available here for your company – and it comes at affordable prices. Prices for industrial and commercial construction land are well below the national average, and rental prices for properties and brownfield sites are 20% to 80% lower than in nearby Zurich. Your employees will also find that apartments or houses in the Canton of Glarus cost considerably less than in the major agglomerations.

Building permits
Every construction project must be approved and granted a permit. The municipalities review all building applications, and reach their decisions on the basis of Federal and Cantonal laws and ordinances.
